What Jackie is

Jackie is an iPhone app for your day and your computers. It turns what you say or type into tasks, routines and weekly commitments, answers questions about them, and, if you link a computer, shows and steers the Claude sessions and projects on it. It organises what you tell it. It does not act on your behalf. Jackie will write “call the landlord” onto your list; it will not call the landlord. Nothing in the app sends messages, makes payments, or contacts anyone for you.

The computer features are different in one way you should know. When you start a session, send a prompt, Allow a request, or merge a branch, the action runs on your computer, under your account and your Claude settings, and Claude on that computer can change files and run commands there. Jackie shows you what is asked and what is reported. You decide, and you are responsible for what you allow.

These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Jackie. Using the app means you accept them.

What you need to run it

Jackie runs on iPhone. Its AI works in one of two ways:

  • Apple Intelligence, on the device, on iPhones that support it (iPhone 15 Pro or newer, with Apple Intelligence turned on). There is nothing extra to pay or set up.
  • Your own AI key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or OpenRouter, on any supported iPhone. You pay that provider directly under your own agreement with them, and their terms apply to what Jackie sends them.

Without either, Jackie still saves what you capture, and files it once one of them is available.

To use the computer features you also need a computer that runs the Jackie agent (Omarchy and other Linux computers today), Tailscale on the phone and the computer, and, for Claude sessions and Chat, your own Claude subscription (a session on a local model uses a model on your computer instead). Jackie does not provide Claude or Tailscale; you pay them under your own agreements with them.

The three plans

  • Jackie, $0.99 per month. The app on your iPhone: voice and typed capture, tasks, routines, weekly commitments and reviews, questions about your own data, and widgets.
  • Jackie + Sync, $4.99 per month. Everything in Jackie, plus end-to-end encrypted sync with your linked computers.
  • Jackie Fleet, $9.99 per month. Everything in Jackie + Sync, plus your computers: Projects, Fleet, Chat, and starting and steering sessions from the phone.

The computer features are free while Jackie is in beta. When the beta ends they need Jackie Fleet, and the app will say so before it asks for anything.

Your first 10 captures are free, so you can try Jackie before you pay. After that, making new captures needs one of the plans. There is no free trial period on any plan.

  • Prices are shown in your local currency at the point of purchase and may differ by region. The price on the purchase screen is the price you pay.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Each plan renews monthly until cancelled. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can move between the plans in the App Store. Apple applies an upgrade right away and a downgrade at your next renewal.

Managing and cancelling

Manage or cancel your subscription from Settings → Manage subscription in Jackie, or in the App Store (Settings, your name, Subscriptions). Both go to the same place. The developer can’t cancel it for you and never sees your payment details.

Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms. Requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

If your subscription lapses, you keep everything

Nothing is deleted or hidden when a plan ends. You can still open, read, edit, complete and export everything already in Jackie. What stops is making new captures, until you subscribe again.

If you had Jackie + Sync, syncing with your computers also stops after any billing grace period. What was already synced stays on each device until you erase it there.

If you had Jackie Fleet, the computer features stop once the beta has ended. Deny, Interrupt and Unlink never wait for a payment: you can always refuse a request, stop a session and unlink a computer.

Deleting your sync account

You can delete your hosted sync account at any time from the Sync screen in Settings. That removes the encrypted data held on our relay. Cancelling the subscription is a separate step in the App Store.

Your content is yours

Everything you put into Jackie belongs to you. It is stored on your iPhone and, if you link computers, on those computers. If you add your own AI key, the text Jackie needs is sent to that provider. With Jackie + Sync, it travels only as end-to-end encrypted records. The developer claims no ownership of it and does not receive the key needed to read it. See the privacy policy for exactly what does and does not leave your phone.

Fair use

Do not use Jackie to break the law, and do not try to

  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app;
  • resell, sublicense, or redistribute it;
  • work around the subscription or the store’s payment system.

If you do any of these, the licence to use Jackie ends. Your data stays yours and stays on your device.

Things we can’t promise

Jackie is provided as it is. It interprets what you say, and interpretation is sometimes wrong: a date read the wrong way, a figure misheard, a task filed under the wrong heading. Check anything that matters. Do not rely on Jackie as the only record of a medical, legal, or financial obligation.

Jackie keeps your data on your device, which means the data’s survival depends on your device and your backups. Keep your iPhone backed up. Claude and the other tools on your computers can make mistakes, and Jackie only shows what they report: review what they do before you rely on it. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for lost data, indirect losses, or anything beyond the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

These terms may change as the app does. The effective date at the top always says when they last did. If a change materially affects what you are paying for, it will be flagged in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Jackie after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Saint Christopher and Nevis, and any dispute will be dealt with in its courts. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law where you live.
